Studio.

Tools for landscape designers.

Every tool starts from a palette: the plants you have picked for a site, in the app, with the guide's measured sizes, needs and bloom months behind each one. Build it on the phone from the region's own flora, refine it by style, and the studio turns it into the documents below. Membership is $39.99 a year and opens all of them.

Nursery schedule

Every plant on the palette with a suggested container size, a quantity and spacing, its mature size, bloom and color, a maintenance note for the client, and what is toxic to pets or people. Excel for the nursery, plain text for Numbers and Sheets.

CAD sections

The guide's scale drawings leave as DXF blocks, one per plant, every section at one scale on one ground line with a ten-foot bar, ready to drop into a planting plan.

Water budget

An estimate of what the palette will drink in a year, from the size of the planting and the ZIP code's own rainfall and evaporation, with starting points for how often to water each group. It is labeled as an estimate and laid out in the MWELO format, so the number on the plan shows its working.

Light plan

Three questions about the spot: does it bake in the afternoon, pots or ground, which way it faces. Each plant answers in plain words, glad of the sun, fine with afternoon shade, or would rather be elsewhere, with the reason and a fix. The professional fold takes counted hours and returns each plant's range and a CSV.

Planting book

A booklet for the client. A map of each plant's native range, places to see them growing wild, how the families are related, a plate for every plant with its photograph, its species drawing, a story and its needs, and a calendar of the year. Print it or send it.

Palettes and drawings

Membership also saves your palettes and drawings to your account, shares them by link, and lets collaborators add to a palette.

California sycamore, western redbud and white sage at one scale, with the ten-foot bar the CAD export carries.
